I love how Americans need a literal road blocking bump to hit with their tyres to figure out when to stop (and yet because their cars are gigantic that’s overshooting anyway).

I remember being so confused by the weird concrete stumps for ages when I lived there at first. It’s just not a thing here…

While it is bad they parked in a spot for the disabled, it’s a nice reminder this bike commonly drives around exactly as many people as a car that would take this ENTIRE space, not changing the balance much.

Move it aside.

Just pick that fucker up and stick it on the other side of the Toblerone block.

And then revel in the inevitable fistfight with its owner that ensues. (Pro tip: Be sure to win.)

Did this place have bike racks?

As someone who worked in a parking lot for years I can tell you 90% of the time the cars that park in these designated spots do not have anything hung from their mirror or on their license plates indicated they are allowed to do so. We couid have theoretically had the cars towed, but when there’s still several empty designated spaces it’s just not worth bothering with.

I’m much more upset about minimum parking lot size requirements built into zoning codes than I am about an easily-movable bike being left in a space for a few minutes.
