Same, I already liked them because of Max Payne but now with Alan Wake, Control, and Alan Wake 2? They’ve got me hooked!

Also honourable mention to Quantum Break!

Quantum Break, the only thing keeping that game from being as good as it could’ve been was that Microsoft owned it

Yeah absolutely. Love that they can just connect it by being like “multiverse, whatever! We just won’t say the names exactly, deal with it Microsoft!”

This got me to look at Control for the first time, and I can’t wait to play it.

Ultimate edition currently on sale on Steam for only $3.99!

Pretty sure this is the voice actor of Alan wake. I played them backwards, control first then Alan wake and I knew I recognized the voice.

Yes. Dr darling is the same actor as Alan wake. Not just same voice but same guy. It’s crazy how different he looks and sounds as Dr darling.

Nope, Alan Wake is voiced by Matthew Porretta (Darling) but acted by Ilkka Villi. Just like Alex Casey and Max Payne are acted by Sam Lake (the creative director of Remedy) but voiced by James McCaffrey (Director Trench). I think this was because both Lake and Villi have really strong accents

I loved this game. I need to buy just bought the big edition, the dlc was as fun as the main game (and added some cool shit) which is rare

There are two DLCs, Foundation and AWE, did you get both? I think AWE is good, but Foundation is really great

Not saying nothing. It’s a fantasy/scifi setting where materialism is almost certainly wrong and the pneuma (Kinda. Mostly.) is not only real but a place you can go and fuck around with.

Like “what if the Nazis won world war 2 and movies were multiverse fuckery magic” or “what if we brought dinosaurs back for a theme park”. It’s explaining lore if the setting and why a magic Bakelite telephone that makes you levitate or whatever is a cohesive part of the setting and thread you can follow and not just random bullshit, some of the logic of some of the mysteries and puzzles in the game(s), etc.
