Empire managers really seem to believe they can ban TikTok and kids will go “Oh well I guess I’ll start reading The Atlantic and supporting genocide then.”

I am not sure what your point is, sorry for my ignorance.

Tiktok has a massive influence in the younger generations, especially when they get exposed to non status quo and diverse ideas.

One of them was the horror of war and all the pictures and videos that are coming out.

I still think there is still a big push that China/Russia is a boogeyman and we should go to war with them over Ukraine/Taiwan, this keeps being repeated by warhawks and those that profit from the military industrial complex.

Here is the non status quo side, from The Grayzone:

Independent news and investigative journalism on politics and empire.

Max Blumenthal debunks US accusation of China’s ‘genocide’ against Uighurs [28:51 | Mar 29 2021 | The Grayzone]

          https://youtu.be/qZkxaEC1xjY

Max Blumenthal documents the deceptions behind the US government’s accusation that China is committing “genocide” against Uyghur Muslims in its Xinjiang region, picking apart NED-funded studies that rely on botched statistics and exposing extremist Adrian Zenz and his error-filled research.

This is the same outfit that defended al-Assad, has had writers act as briefing folk for Russia on the UN and has posted a boatload of nonsensical conspiracy theories (Mauripol theatre bombing was an inside job among others) published an article by an AI that referenced made up sources etc.

This os the worrying bit about tik tok. It’s got kids like you just believing whatever unquestioningly without looking into sources, context or accuracy.
