Keep your emotional breakdowns for the time they actually fit, like a death in the family or whatever. Then, it’s fine if you have a moment of sad madness, who wouldn’t understand?

I punched a hole in a door while my parents were taking our dog to be put down. They had to do it. He had late stage cancer and could barely walk, but I wasn’t ready to let go of my best friend. Regreted it the second my hand went through
