Edit 2: OK it’s not this guy but I’ll leave it as it was; original edit below:
Jonathan Steven Ferguson is a British firearm historian and author who is currently the Keeper of Firearms and Artillery at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, England.
Thanks @ElectroLisa@lemmy.blahaj.zone :)
Unironically, “The vibes here are immaculate. Come enjoy a goated day out.” Is a great slogan for a museum.
He nailed the delivery on that one too
“His cod piece hits different” guarantee this man never imagined he’d be describing exhibits like that lmao
This is Jonathan Ferguson the keeper of firearms and artilleries at the Royal Armouries museum
edit: This isn’t him on the video btw
Updated thanks!
It’s not him on the video though! That is someone else
Oh did he write the script?
That sounds like such a cool job. When I was younger, I used to binge-watch so many videos on Forgotten Weapons, even the really obscure ones like the lecture about firearm markings from 1880 to 1945. Then I lost my interest in the subject because I had other things to do, but if I had had the time and opportunities to keep following it, this would’ve been my dream job. Getting paid to nerd out about your favourite niche hobby. There’s probably also a lot of boring stuff he needs to do, paperwork and such, but that’d be worth it.
SLAY!
I’m glad gen Z is willing to take responsibility for all the cringe millennial slang.
