I just checked. My LG washer and LG dryer both transmit ~30KB a day whether we use them or not. I do like being notified when they finish since they’re in the basement and my work desk is upstairs. I wouldn’t know otherwise.

Do what you want with beep, I will continue blocking them. They had more than their fair share of chances to be a part of the community but they chose to be contrarian about it. Somebody with the power to hold them accountable finally reaches out and now they’ll play by the rules? Beep you squandered all my good will, good luck somewhere else. I see no benefits to me owning even 1/2500th of somebody else’s house. I’d rather give my friend $100 so they have a place to live and be done with it.

Unless you have a unique tax situation, your taxes have been pulled out of every paycheck throughout the year. You can’t protest by not doing taxes because you’re probably giving Uncle Sam more than you otherwise would have.

Real tax based protest begins when you get a unique tax situation where your employer stops prepaying taxes for you. Or if you jump through the hoops to break even on your taxes.

Either way, there’s probably better ways to protest. The IRS will find you they won’t care who was president at the time.

I prefer the Patreon model. Except I don’t even want Patreon perks. I want to give some projects money so they can keep doing exactly what they’re doing and provide it for free to other people.

Ads are a sign of desperation, that anybody with an MP4 and a part of a penny can buy space in somebody else’s project. It’s a last ditch effort when they can no longer provide enough quality to be worthy of money. I will literally give you free money if you make a good thing.
