I knew better than to give thee companies my DNA but of course I’ve had family give it to them. I suppose if I was wanted for an unsolved murder I’d be a bit concerned, but I’m still not happy that anyone’s DNA is compromised that I’m associated with.
The question to me is what’s the play with that data. I’d assume they would have a use for it if they went to the trouble of stealing it. I suspect in the future this will be lucrative data, but what’s the play right now??
Yeah I think it’s hard to tell where people’s vices start and stop. Probably some of those people were just doing drugs, just having sex with prostitutes. To me neither of those things is inherently bad or of concern at face value. But there’s no question there’s also people who were specifically associating with those two for the kid rape.
We will likely never know the truth but Im personally ok with all the names being dropped because even if you weren’t raping kids, your judgment was so compromised that you were associating with one of the worst sex traffickers on the planet. We should not be associating with you or doing business with you. But I think everyone’s going to assume any name on the list was diddling kids, and I just don’t think that’s true.
Well it’s kind of like that photo of Elon and Ghislaine. Does it raise questions? Oh yes. Does it automatically mean Elon has been raping kids? No. Those two rapists associated with lots of famous people. I think they got their in with a lot of people becauze of all the secret rapists they associated with. I don’t think every person who has associated with them was a rapist.
I’d agree with you but then you hear about all the sketch shit with the discord and the volunteers. I think they intended to make a game but planned for it to just be a quick cash grab and then they could just slowly dump it. It’s honestly a great strategy, just look at every game the atlas devs have made. They’ve basically mastered the strategy.
This was a scam from the start. They fucked themselves because their trailer was popular and they promised the world. Their goal was to create a shit early access game with pre-made assets, get lots of buy in when it was released, endure some bad reviews, promise to fix things but then slowly dump support for the game. I’ve watched this exact thing happen probably ten times now.
What killed them was the hype and popularity. They were called out immediately for what they were doing and got stuck having to now make an actual game or face legal repercussions.
At the very least these cash grabs are getting spotted early and they’re not getting to sneak by without facing consequences.
I definitely don’t think being pro Palestinian warrants losing your job and all of that. Just as being pro Israel should not warrant it. But there’s a limit. Are you being pro Palestine or are you screaming death to the jews. There’s a big difference. Seems people get caught up in the heat of this extremely contentious issue and forget that neither side in this decades old conflict is without sin. People become extreme in their beliefs and go overboard. If you fuck around like that, well, you get what you deserve.

So I’ve done lots of cpr. First off it’s kind of a misconception that you’ll break ribs from cpr. You are more likely to break cartilage than actually break bones and appropriate cpr isn’t going to break bones unless they’re the smallest most frail person and the individual doing cpr is going crazy doing compressions.
Even if you break ribs you’re probably not going to have a displaced rib fracture as there’s muscles and tissue holding those bones in place, it’s pretty rare to have ribs break so bad they risk puncturing organs and it usually involves catastrophic trauma, not what you get from cpr.
Well I wouldn’t say that exactly. GTA 5 had a huge budget and a huge team and it’s objectively a better product if you compare the two (which is only to say they’re both great games but the bigger budget game has and does more).
It’s a matter of the motivations of the developers and their financial backers. If your goal is to make an ok game that maximizes profit focused mechanics, most of these AAA developers are hitting the mark perfectly. If your focus is to make a good game like it seemed to be with the BG devs, they absolutely hit the mark and are being rewarded for it.
This is just a reminder to an industry that is trying to tell us that pay to win mechanics are the standard that they do not in fact get to dictate what those standards are. We do. If a game is shit people will abandon it even if you poured millions into that product. The recent battlefield game is a prime example of this. Even something as guaranteed as a new battlefield game isn’t enough to overcome a shitty leadership team emphasizing the wrong things. The community bailed on their product and they’ll never get them back. All those millions in guaranteed revenue are gone forever.
