Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•In your opinion, what is the most convenient Lemmy web interface on a phone?
1·8 days agomlmym also works and looks great on mobile unlike old reddit. also works fine on older phones/browsers with poor modern js support.
i hope it’s allowed, or perhaps a community should be created? i do miss the OD sub from reddit.
xfce, mate, lxde, tde, pick your choice
i prefer wms like fvwm/wmaker/blackbox/e16/ctwm tho

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Has Google intentionally released its brand font, Google Sans, to the public?
10·9 days agoI could download “Google Sans” from this page https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Google+Sans, though I’m not sure if this is what you need. Catbox mirror in case you don’t want Google’s proprietary JS: https://files.catbox.moe/ncgu5q.zip

101·9 days agohave you tried mpc-qt? i heard it’s pretty good. mpc-hc (the windows program) hasn’t been developed for 9 years now, i don’t think it’s a good idea…

Showerthoughts@lemmy.world•LLM's despite all the flaws it probably made it easier to switch to Linux. Have a stupid or niche question no need to be judge just ask an LLM.
181·10 days agothe difference is that LLMs spit out actual bs quite frequently while forums are usually simply outdated or smth

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How on earth do I fix my trackpad?
1·11 days agotry booting windows pe usb (you can make one from linux), this may be a hardware issue.
you can use xinput disable command to disable the trackpad inside x11
i just use temporary containers on firefox so my cookies are always empty, i’m sure they still track me internally but youtube suggestions seem unaffected by my usage history
