Hard pass for me. If they mean I’ll have to pay or grind for game altering mechanics, then I’m out.

If it’s that, then all good. I’m just traumatized by what publishers have been putting out lately.
Fair enough, I felt it important to clarify (and check) so these developers and Team 17 aren’t unfairly punished by the general state of the industry.
It doesn’t seem like you need to worry here.
