The X-37b first flew in 2010.

It’s cool to see other countries join in such as Europes IXV first flown in 2015.

But yeah Chinas certainly playing catch-up here despite what the title implies.

Im annoyed the SCMP is accepted as a news source around here. It’s 100% pure, government sanctioned propaganda.

That’s what the article says, yes.

The mission, known as USSF-52, will be the US plane’s seventh mission to orbit since 2010 and its second ride with a SpaceX rocket.

    Isn’t SCMP not super reliable?

    It’s owned by Alibaba.

Or am I being overly critical?

The Washington Post is owned by Amazon, as a comparison.

But no, it’s not very trustworthy, less so that TWP, imo.

I can’t decide if you’re being downvoted by the tankies for calling out their propaganda, or the neolibs for calling out theirs.

I think both lol. Also a chance nitpickers are annoyed because Jeff bezos, not Amazon, owns TWP.

The secret is what they do and where they’re doing it. Usually you can tell where a satellite is by where the rocket went. This thing can change its orbit so it’s very difficult to find it.
