I silenced myself on reddit a few years back
Not all of reddit, but worldnews permabanned me for saying Biden was complicit in Palestinian genocide. I was not a frequent or controversial poster.

I got banned there too for saying not to worry about a potential Ukrainian terrorist wave in the EU, since most of them are at the front, dead or female.On reddit I would have been banned for the latter, but I think here they got upset about the ‘not to worry’ part.

Your statement doesn’t seem ban-worthy either. When people get sensitive about statements like that you have to wonder what their morality standards are.

The morality is here is a combo of liberalism, social democratism, Marxist-Leninism, but most of all US-progressivism.
So jokes that could be interpreted to support otherwise are out of the question.
And no critique against US-progressivism is allowed, they’re in a battle against US fascists.
I just got banned from reddit for suggesting the usage of cannons in a way not approved by the Atlanto-zionist west
during early FEbuarary, 5+accounts with 1-11years in between them were all sitewide banned, simply because of my accounts were temp ban it triggered a multi-account ban. finally my last acct was shadowbanned.
Used to be easy to create anonymous accounts; now there’s all sorts of verification
yea alt accounts, if you were permabanned in a sub, your new account should avoid those subs, now they consider any account as a ban evasion, if your first one wasnt resolved in its ban.
I wouldn’t say silenced, i don’t really stand for anything, I’m just in it for the shitposts and easy feeling of company.
That said I have been permabanned arbitrarily 3 times.

I’ve used all the supposed banned words and not even a warning. Not sure why Lemmy is pushing the “Reddit banned me narrative” seems very bot campaign like.
I went and liked every single Luigi post I could find and my account is fine, then went onto and called out a racist remark and got banned, but the racist op did not even get a warning and the post is still up full of slurs.
I think they just have a shitty AI doing the bans
When people gets banned on one site they go to the other, it is normal to have here a disproportionate number of banned reddit users.
Me myself I said something about execution and elon musk and just got a warning. The best part is that they issue a warning but they don’t tell you for what.
