    Even if the pattern were laid out properly there’s no way it’s “perfect”. There would be slight differences in height, alignments, etc. It comes down to a matter of how close you look, but it will never be flawless.

    Imagine the ego on someone like that who thinks their work would even come close to the supreme creator of the universe’s level. They either think they’re far more skilled than they are, or that their deity is far more flawed. Either way it’s nonsense.

      Yeah, I didn’t say it made sense, but I know at least a half dozen builders that abide by that. They don’t do it even remotely this bad, usually just one tile out of place somewhere

      You’ll actually see it a lot in places that were built to be Mexican restaurants
