      To me a temporary solution (which may be many years) where hardware support is real good on Android but terrible on Linux for these phones. In particular the high end chips. On Linux I rarely ever want to use an Android app. On Android it’d be cool to dock my phone and use Linux applications

    Based! Slowly been transitioning my entire household to Google products.

      It’s all well and good until they kill it (see Nest devices, Hangouts, Stadia…there’s hundreds)

      Not to mention that, since they have so much control over everything (Chrome, Google Search, gmail, g suite, google drive, android, youtube, google play, google ads, google dns, etc. like holy they have EVERYTHING) they are almost guaranteed to have a scarily comprehensive data profile of every person who has ever touched the internet. Of course, being a company, they’re selling that data for profit. Not very nice of them at all. Hence why many people are attempting to degoogle…
