      Why? Under the Patriot act they are forced to comply and then lie about it if asked if they did. I see no reason why anyone should trust them, or any other company that claims to protect your encryption while holding the keys for it.

        They say themselves that they don’t have the key, and since there is no evidence that they do, I believe that.

          That right there is the problem. This is unverifiable trust, should be avoided, basically “appeal to authority” fallacy, but hey sure trust a capitalist company in a emerging fascist controlled dictatorship to the speak the truth.
