Going into this episode I was very much in the camp that Maggie should never talk, but I thought Lindsey Lohan did a good job.

Future episodes are non-cannon right? Because there is a massive technology leap between this episode and season 16’s Future Drama which would take place about three years later in the timeline.

I think “canon” and “The Simpsons” are an impossibility now. It’s canon to the episode and then possibly never again.

First off, I always enjoy a flash forward episode and this was no exception. It was a great way to tell a story about the core family. Marge and ageing, Homer and actually helping, Bart and Lisa both as teenagers and the weirdness of being a teen (Internet and confidence respectively) and of course even Maggie getting an actual little storyline.

Weird thing. Why was Sarah Wiggums voice, which is credited as Megan Mullally, not at all her voice (around 3:25). It sounds more like Bernice Hibbert. This is definitely an animation goof or a last minute redubbing.

Also, having Sharri but not Terri was weird. There must have been a Terri joke that was cut. We only know the name due to subtitles… But how did the writings decide?
