I mean the price is high, but it is a unique device with controls you won’t find on other devices. Additionally, you’re not pirating the games this way (I know that’s not a plus for everyone). It’s obviously playing on peoples nostalgia, but I don’t think it’s that big of a ripoff.

The controls are what makes it a good purchase imo. Old arcade games often had unique controls like dials, or track balls that DO NOT translate well to a keyboard mouse or controller.

Playing OG Missile Command with an actual scroll ball is such a fun time. This hand held looks to give a bit of that back with their extra controls, so I am very interested.

Regardless of the game size and quality, HOW it’s played is what’s been missing from most arcade ports over the last few decades. Seems like they actually put some thought into this design imo! 😁

Yeah, I’ve had the chance to play mission command and asteroid on an original arcade cabinet, its definitely a different experience and I’m sure for some worth this price.

Looks like an arm device: you can buy a good smartphone with better specs on that price. Actual gamers (people actively looking for a gaming device) are no the real market target: this is aimed more towards people looking for memorabilia or action figures from their favorite brand/IP.

The draw for me is actually the physical controls you don’t find on other devices.

      Integrated paddle, trak-ball and keypad.

Still on the fence due to other compromises they made in the hardware. I’d also really love if I could install other emulators such as something for Amiga & C64.

My first thought was “just buy it from miyoo”

My second thought was “hope nobody falls for this”

My third thought was “wow it’s even worse than I thought” (I read about the product)
