Do any Indie or even Hobbyist musicians post here? I’m always down to listen to new stuff.

This is Lemmy, does anyone post here?

Well, I saw a lot of commercial pieces and didn’t know if Indie or Hobbyist posted here. The side bar didn’t give any guidelines. I guess in retrospect, it was a silly question.

At any rate: Pale Birds. I enjoyed it. Has a retro 90s/Garage kinda vibe to it, at least to these old ears. Of the album Remnants, I liked Promises and Lonely Sound the most. Very cool grooves man. Thanks for the share.

Hey, thanks for listening! Most of the songs were written for a band that had a 90s/grunge vibe, so spot on assessment. And those two songs are also my favorites!

Do you do this for a living or a side gig? I’ve been playing since I was about 5. I have put some stuff up on SoundCloud in the past, but I have terrabytes of stuff that will probably never see the light of day. It’s just for fun really, as I have no delusions of breaking into the biz at my age. I’ve had a love affair with music all my life, and I honestly couldn’t imagine life without it.

It’s just for fun for me too, but I take it seriously. While I’d love to do it as a full time gig, there’s just not money in the music industry these days without a ton of hustle and/or talent/luck.

You’re too kind, but not too bad for an septuagenarian, if I may toot my horn ever so slightly. Thank you kindly for listening and your encouraging words.
