I think there was at one point an instance called ‘lemmyporn’ or similar but they might have quit to let lemmynsfw take the role. Otherwise there are a few comms on general purpose instances.
For the last one the admin went rogue and tried to sell it, no deal came so it died. Im very sure I’m misremembering some parts of the story but that is the general gist of what happended.
Not a single instance like lemmynsfw, but there are NSFW-communities elsewhere. They’re mostly dormant, as lemmynsfw has filled that role up until recently, but I don’t see a problem with reviving alternatives.
Tale is it went offline recently and the admin is gone for a few months.

Seems pretty short sighted to not have someone as your backup while you’re gone.
