I’m Swiss, but I was born and raised in the Gulf states. When I visit Switzerland during the cold season, I immediately become depressed, irritable, and in a bad mood. I prefer the heat 100%. I don’t think I could live in a place with a cold climate and be happy.
Not a fan of the hot summer sun. All the other seasons come with a variety of emotions and nostalgic feelings at times, in very small amounts that are manageable to process/ignore. Peak summer hurts my eyes and makes me physically uncomfortable, fear being sweaty/stinky…yeah I think it’s a genuinely annoying season.
