A few days after a close friend died, I heard this song in the airport, but it was quiet and I couldn’t make out the lyrics, so I didn’t know what song it was.
The song was stuck in my head all week, and then, at his funeral/celebration of life, a different rendition of the song was the first song in the montage.
It’s probably coincidence, but this song will always remind me of him.
I remember being at a party at an indoor swimming pool venue where the dj’s would all play house and techno but they played this track to close night. Crazy.
Damn good song still have my copy I downloaded from Limewire back in the day. Bought the song years later on Amazon music.
The original will always be a classic but I fancy this cover I’ve had on my list of a while
