I tried to get into the Absolute series, but the only one that grabbed me was Martian Manhunter. Green Lantern for a bit, but I gave up after too many issues of going nowhere. 😞
That was how I felt about Absolute Green Lantern, too. I bought volume 1, and by the end of it, there was still just barely a story starting to happen.
