Bear: “I dont wanna go grocery shopping.”
Rabbit: Did you make a list?
Bear: Yes. I dont wanna go because: - it’s boring -I’m tired - too crowded…
Rabbit: No, l mean a grocery list.
I like it. I guess the bunnies answer in panel 2 could simply be left out.
i disagree, the “straight man” angle makes it even better
like bunny KNEW this was coming, even funnier imo
Add everything is freaking expensive to that list, please.
The worst part of covid, aside from all those people dying, is I’m no longer able to do my grocery shopping in peace because all the 24/7 stores near me cut their hours.
In my experience going between 7-10pm isn’t too bad.
But my wife always wants to go at noon on Sundays
Thats so relatable
very funny and relatable, thank you!
That’s why I shop almost exclusively online. Imagine having to pick everything in a packed labyrinth hunting for the precise item you need, then go though register, then carrying all the way to the car, then taking it out and carrying home. The horror!
I hate grocery shopping online worse than going to the supermarket. I was forced into it this year through injury and it was frustrating. The fruit and veg were never as fresh as when I chose them myself, some random item was subbed, and somehow a big slab of chocolate had been added to the order at 2am.
I know
I always bulk buy before I ran out of things so I always choose no substitutions.
For tomatoes and fruit I’d rather go to a fresh grocer. My local supermarkets never have decent stuff so either online or going there results in the same bad veggies. But that’s a small bag that I can carry between other errands. I got lucky to find a good place on my way to a weekly activity, before that it was really an effort to get fruit.
Agreed, though I’d replace “boring” with “expensive.” I can handle boring errands, but being on a budget as prices rise mean every trip to the grocery store involves the game of “Can I reasonably justify buying this?” and feeling the subsequent disappointment that, no, no I cannot.
