What many people perceive as negativity is cognitive dissonance related to their own standpoint on an issue. It can be quite relaxing to get the truth up front and save yourself a few hours. I’d say this site is already good, just needs more people to flesh it out still. ;)

A lot of the photography communities, like !entomology@mander.xyz, !crows@lemmy.ml, !birding@lemmy.world are great
little wins and small victories is very low volume, but wonderful to see pop up in your feed.
