Pc and server built from unused dental equipment.
OS: Artix (Systemd-less Arch)
- CPU | Intel Core i7-5820K > Great CPU, overclocked to 4.5Ghz stable and is very reliable
- CPU Cooler | Noctua NH-U9S > Keeps CPU cool, 85 degrees celcius max when stress testing. Did not change thermal paste which is probably 4+ year old.
- Motherboard | Gigabyte GA-X99-UD3P > Overclocks great, not a big fan of the UI tho.
- Memory | Crucial Ballistix Sport 16 GB (4 x 4 GB) DDR4-2400 CL16 Memory > Nothing to say here, did not try overclocking it yet.
- Storage | TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan G 1 TB SSD > Good I guesa? My first SSD
- Storage | Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" HDD > Pulled out of an old PC, only used to backup Artix using Timeshift couple of times a week
- Video Card | x2 MSI ARMOR OC Radeon RX 580 8 GB > I got 2 of them due to an error. Very good card, fans perform well and they defenitly aren’t heavy enough to have an anti-sag bracket. I use them for Stable Diffusion and while being a bit slow, they do not struggle at all. Got them overclocked to 1470MHz/1200mV on the GPU and 2100MHz/1000mV on the Vram with 202w max power limit.
- Case | Corsair 4000D Airflow Power Supply | Corsair RM750e (2023) 750 W 80+ Gold > Good, quiet and reliable so far. Could’ve gotten a more powerfull one tho.
- Case Fans | Corsair iCUE SP120 RGB ELITE > Not very good fans, pretty loud under load and I don’t care about RGB anymore.
- Keyboard | Dell KB216 Wired > Good keyboard? Pulled from old pc build.
- Mouse | Glorious MODEL O > Nice mouse.
- Monitor| Dell UltraSharp 2408WFP > Not really good monitor, image quality is especially bad when moving suddenly in games.
