He died, they ran a post-mortem covid test on him, it came back positive. Later on, he got removed from covid death statistics as it was probably not covid that killed him.
To be fair, most of them were Republicans. God works in mysterious ways.
Well, by the end of 2021 there were a little under 800k deaths (edit: in the US), so the vast majority were not from the US, let alone Republican.
1.6M by the end of 2020, but also 800k by the end of 2021.
