Those cereal box games were so cheaply made they had a tendency of blowing up when spun in a high RPM disk drive. The ones we had weren’t mini disks but we had one blow up on us, although we did get some RollerCoaster Tycoon games from them.

It still runs decently, I often forget it’s a 10 year old machine. I boot Ubuntu on it for work though, and boot Windows on it for the occasional game. It’s a useful machine.
Caching issues aside, could you make a meme that changes based on time if you link to an external image that you change later? I think on Lemmy specifically it wouldn’t work from how it handles caching.
