  • I went to Bonnaroo from 2009-2016 and this makes me sad… i wanna say ticket prices for at least the first 4 i went to were around $300 for 4 days. We went as a group so several cars packed of people and even though the drive was like 11 hours the split cost of gas to get there and back was not even $40 a person. Camping was included and even cars, which i think you have to pay for now. Bringing supplies was maybe $100 and we wouldnt really drink inside just drink at camp. Food i would really only eat breakfast and dinner and anything inbetween was snacks at camp. Food was like $10-$15 a meal so max $30 a day so add another hundred for the weekend. I only purchased 1 item a year and always went for the blanket since it was shockingly cheap at $40.

So altogether maybe $600-$700 for a 5 day trip seeing all the bands I ever wanted to see and more, while having the best times with friends. It will be some of the funnest times I ever had in my life and never had anything but an incredible time every year. With that said I couldnt imagine paying over 1k just for a ticket these days… It’s so sad seeing these events getting worse and worse every year pricing people out.

  • Depends on what stage its at. If you were to somehow manage the shit show of surviving through the beginning times and actually establish a system that works and one not ran by cult leaders then a free trade system could look really nice. The other problem with this would be the more people involved the more there may be people that disagree with this system since no matter what everyone has different opinions on what they want even if its a fully functional system. I also fear that ultimately, just as it is today, we would still be full of problems that most likely stem from world leaders that have to much power and fuck it all up for the rest of us.

  • Not that i stopped, and would absolutely have either if the opportunity ever presented its self again (probably not). I found that the older you get in general just makes it harder since, at least in my experience, you have way more to worry about that eats at you. Closer to death, more health issues, money could be worse than before, wife/husband and possibly kids to worry about. Stupid things i did in my early 20’s would never fly today just because I think things through way more and realize how bad those things were back then lol. Thankfully the few times i was able to do these things were all great experiences despite that, and its most likely to being with good friends who also joined.
