The only thing I will add is that even though most of the stress is gone by being there early I am still super on edge constantly checking to make sure i really am at the correct gate or make sure it wasnt moved or delayed.

6·8 days agoI wish they showed what it looks like. I honestly can’t understand how this works. Almost all parm i have is grated so wouldn’t it be noticeable during the grating process? Or is it that small it avoids being chopped up.

6·9 days agoDo you not have a winter? Where i am it was extremely cold for the past month and the house barely got over 60 degrees F or 15.5 C. Even with covers its also nice to sleep in a comfortable outfit to stay warm.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Whats the best way to clean up 15 years of stuff around the house?
12·9 days agoAgreed, as someone married to a clearly undiagnosed horder it is tough to say the least… my only saving grace is that she really doesnt know what exists and is also semi tired of living this way so i have been clearing out rooms when she is at work (I work from home) and hope she doesn’t ask to see the garbage bags that i hide until garbage pickup. Everytime i clean when she is around she will go into the bags. I am on the side that it is all trash, but the sadder part is that a lot of it isn’t exactly junk either and did cost a lot over the years. I should be figuring out what to keep, but it’s so bad i don’t care and would rather start over from scratch than trying to figure out what can be sold to make back some of the losses. Sadly depending upon how bad OP has it he may not be able to get away with any of this, but wish him the best.

Games@lemmy.world•"It's going to be a very long goodbye" - Peter Molyneux's last game will be Masters of Albion, but that's not necessarily as simple as it soundsEnglish
7·12 days agoOr to many people have been burned by his promises and waiting for it to drop and see how it does before any commitment to sequels. I hope it does well because it sounds really cool, but we all know it can be a big flop as well.
All i see is Leonardo Decaprio.
What a weak password. Not even name plus birthday.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•The radical woke subliminal message in Bad Bunny's halftime performance
38·16 days agoI dont either, and only heard some of his stuff before. I also am never a huge fan of most of the half time shows, but this one seemed to work well and was unique. I especially liked the end where he celebrates all countries, the dig without being a dig.
Some chains have metal underneath the plastic shield so it looks nicer longer and can be various colors.

3·17 days agoSo delay a few years and make it a PS6 exclusive. It feels like one of the few they have left so why wouldn’t they.
Most of the time i end up reorganizing the toppings when i take it out anyway since they never seem to be balanced. I may also have minor OCD.

512·23 days agoYikes… i guess i am confused though. What data was being sent through this channel? What did they get from people while it happened and why did it take 2 months past them stopping it to finally make a release? I love the app, but this sounds really bad.

Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•How Most Coffee Pros Brew Their Morning Pots. The pour-over, requiring a handheld kettle and a funnel dripper with a conical filter that sits on top of the cup to catch the coffee.
1·24 days agoYeah, i had a semi decent low grade grinder. Didnt spend much on it but it allowed me to control corse to fine grind and worked great. I liked being able to try all the different grinds to find what i liked best. I ended up finding 2 coffees i really liked, but they were expensive and i kind of gave up drinking coffee due to that and some other reasons. This was like 10 years ago, i really don’t wanna know what it cost these days!

61·24 days agoDoes it truly make that big of a difference? I always feel like if you want a good coffee use really good coffee. When i was semi into trying different coffees i felt this was the only thing that really mattered. Tasted just as great out of my standard coffee pot as it did to a french press.
Crazy everyone here uses women’s deodorant? Over here it’s the opposite. My wife discovered long ago that she likes mine way more than hers since its bigger, lasts longer, and seems to work better. Im not a fan of this, but what can i do. So we both use either old spice fresh or old spice sport.

Good job NJ. Glad to see my state will do the right thing sometimes.
