Somehow people still like to blame women and minorities though instead of the real problem.
Got sniped by a Reddit bot and had my almost 100k karma account banned, new home here for now until I go back. I’m a man of MANY interests NSFW and SFW alike. Scrolling down my profile you might be thinking “Wow…Interesting profile” in either a sarcastic tone or serious, but hey god forbid a man has hobbies.

Somehow people still like to blame women and minorities though instead of the real problem.

That’s the ironic part isn’t it, It’s like a Nazi reports you for “inciting violence” and then Reddit says well technically you incited violence somehow, oh by the way this guy that reported you with malicious intent walks away free, which is probably what happened.
Unless a bot spotted a word or something, because I was literally banned by a bot.

I do agree and you are right that it depends on the community for example r/politics which is a really large subreddit that attracts all different kinds of users has to be way more strict than let’s say a niche small community, but what I also didn’t mention that receiving a permanent ban out of nowhere is harsh especially because a bot said so, to me a permanent ban should be enforced for the absolute worst of the worst situations, like harassment, doxxing and illegal porn.
But yeah my point is that if you are going to be that strict at least be fair and have actual admins checking your appeals and if they still say no, then all good.
Depends on what you classify as AI anymore
I work with Video Editing software and you could argue that a lot of features on softwares like Davinci, Capcut, Premiere all use different helpful tools that could or could not be AI, Artificial Intelligence existed long before companies slapped the term into every product. Nowadays even TVs have “AI” processors which is just a fancy way of saying just a CPU.
I do believe it still should be an Open source tool that we can use for good, for example helping fighting against cancer but knowing we live in such a planet it will be used for worse rather than good and it depends on who trains it and for what purpose because we train AI.
I do care about Art like Movies, Books and the Movie industry so far seems to be the only one who fights against AI being used as lazy work, there are possibly Video Games that use AI text to speech for NPCs or something but there are a lot of directors who speak passionatelly against it which is good to see.
At the end of the day it’s a tool and it will depend on how we use it. We can use it to do good things, but also drive more people out of jobs and helping with endless wars, I have a feeling the latter will be true but we’ll see.

It was okay overrall some games we will not see in like years from now like that Star Wars game (not the podracing one) but the last two big announcements were funny maybe because people were expecting HL3 somehow even though Valve are known to always do their own thing

Obviously the honest taxpayer and not the greedy billionaires.

Whenever you have too much moderation and rules just know that companies can leverage that however they want, same with Reddit and how I got wrongfully banned and many others, may companies never rule the world.

It’s quite funny because every Disney movie nowadays feels fake and manufactured without AI.

"“We will drive innovation that is meaningful, not incremental.”
Gotcha, so same time next year? What do you mean innovate? I played BO6’s campaign because it was free and I said fuck it why not, and it was clear to me that the devs would rather do anything else than a CoD campaign.
You can’t really innovate, CoD is creatively bankrupt it has been for years, are you going to go back to WW2 again?

The Outer, Outer Worlds?

Imagine losing to fucking VRChat

What CPU do you have? When you said stutters did you mean like low fps like me? I’ve had my game crash many times because I was travelling through different planets
My experience was 30-40 fps during hub > takeoff > crash > veryfying files

I installed it because of the free flight that ends tomorrow and it ran horrible on my nvme ssd, I’m talking about freezes when traveling 5-10 fps in space, 30-40 while in the hub, funny thing is that I think it ran better years ago when I was again testing it for a free flight with my Nvidia GPU
So two reasons either it’s a me issue because I have an AMD GPU though yet again, I don’t think so.
Or it’s still really unoptimized, which is a shame because I really like the premise of the game, I like the scale of it and it did things better than Starfield.

It might be one of those placebo feelings, but I think my PC is running slightly worse and I’m working on a video right now I need to edit with Premiere so I’m thinking of formatting my PC, I haven’t done so in many years.

I think toxic podcasts have a big influence on young men, especially those who grew up without strong father figures. My own dad wasn’t perfect (I joke a bit about it on my profile), and many of us went through that risky “2015 phase” of consuming unhealthy online content.
What many politicians and advocates on the left often overlook is that toxic masculinity isn’t solved by telling men to be “less masculine.” You can actually counter unhealthy masculinity with healthy masculinity. Instead of shaming men, we should be teaching a better version of manhood one that includes therapy, emotional intelligence, and being able to talk honestly about what’s going on inside.
As corny as it sounds there’s a reason when there’s a bad take by a misinformed feminist calling all men evil on twitter ganders a response like “This is why men turn right” and sure while that stuff doesn’t work on me anymore, It’s not 2015-2016 there’s still some vulnerable people that unfortunately fall for it, does that mean though that the feminist is wrong in her views? Not really, but I’m not talking about myself I’m talking about a lot of men that do fall for it.
Most working-class men who grind through 9–5 jobs, going from shift to shift, are worried about affordability and stability. If someone comes along and says “I’m going to make your life easier,” that’s who they’ll vote for even if it’s Trump. You can call them naïve or say the leopards ate their face or whatever , but the reality is that many of these men are desperate for change. And they’ll keep voting for whoever promises that change. When society pushes these men aside or dismisses them, some end up looking for someone to blame. That’s when you get people saying, “Women are the reason my life is hard,” or “Jews control everything.”
Of course, some people are genuinely racist or sexist, and there will always be trolls who just want attention. But why do those trolls exist in the first place? Often it’s because they feel insignificant, and attaching themselves to extreme movements gives them a sense of identity and purpose they don’t have otherwise.
I will go back once my “jail time” expires as in 100 days where they remove IPs and fingerprints format my PC and join again.
It’s really funny how I got sniped unjustworthy by a bot and I can’t seem to do anything about it, oh well
To be honest the only time I’ve ever installed Linux was to install it on my old laptop out of sheer curiosity to see if it’s actually lightweight and it is, I’m not sure if I’ll ever install it on my actual PC because of my muscle memory of like close to 20 years of using Windows but I’ll always cheer an underdog if it means Microsoft gets it’s shit together on the software side and makes it way more stable. I’m just playing specific games with anticheats like CS2 and dabble with Video Ediitng.
The only thing Microsoft did with Windows is that my 8.1 key that I bought in 2013 works on Windows 11 other than that, it’s greed.
