The same reason CPAs have been working 16 hours a day 7 days a week at the Big 4 accounting firms. There is a shortage of people qualified to do the work that keeps this country running and people alive. CPAs hold up the economy, doctors hold up the health of the nation. Both do it way more to help than to be paid well.

We have learned this lesson before, especially from Cyberpunk. Don’t realease it until it is ready. Even if that takes 20+ years. You have to make it worth the wait, so you might as well perfect it. I have plenty of time and patience.
