I don’t keep them in the fridge, I’ve got my own hens and I didn’t before when I got shop bought eggs. I have 0 concern about salmonella or anything like that.

The fridge egg holder is for keeping hard boiled eggs, not raw ones.

I use Sync, you can filter key words in any combination of post content, titles, community names and comments.

It won’t catch everything, but it clears out enough that I get enough other content to keep me happy. You could also block the specific communities for politics.

I recently discovered the piano and violin version of this, rather than the full orchestral version. It’s much more intimate and would be my choice for a more soothing experience. The orchestral version is so emotional for me, that sometimes I wouldn’t be able to describe it as soothing.

I’ve stopped using cast iron after some experimentation. It has some uses, but none of which can’t be done equally well in a stainless steel or carbon steel pan.

I find these respond to temperature changes better and so are easier to control. My big iron pan also doesn’t heat evenly enough, so extra care is needed to cook things consistently if it spans a wide area of the pan.

I think the best place for iron cookware is for oven pots, not for hobs and frying.

Yorkshire has a cult following (for good reason), but Barry’s is on the same level.

Energy needs can be met and shouldn’t be an argument for using plastic.

The pollution could be more dependending on how you look at that statement, but making something without plastic results in less plastic pollution and you can’t claim that to be an overall loss for the earth.

I’ve had ones so severe I thought my tendons were going to snap, waking me up in the middle of the night and I’m screaming and doing sympathy whines pleading for mercy. I have genuine fear of the bed time calf and/or foot cramp.

Works especially well for brunch guests.
