Rereading the original comment to which I replied, I’m not so sure celebrities should earn so much, not because art isn’t valuable, but because children shouldn’t be forced to it, and left to all sorts of abuse and exploration to support adults. No one should be abused and exploited, really, but especially those without personal agency of their own.
