Honestly to me it sounds like they are forking bazzite to have their own official version not that bazzite is making a version for them. The discord link they gave isn’t even for the bazzite discord.

If they are holding data hostage yes that is a problem but if you use the export option I would bet it gives all the info.

If they did that then they likely would end up with melted 8 pin connectors as that derating is a protection against one pin being overused due to small expected differences in resistance on each pin
