So I’m going to be downvoted for this because I always am and I am always shocked but when it comes to women’s rights and LGBTQ rights, I am easily on the side of Israel.

I can hate everything that is happening in Gaza to women and children by Israel and yet not want a Palestinian state if it’s going to be ruled by Hamas. And I’m dumbfounded by leftists and liberals who support them.

I promise you, your mindset is going to change. Near the time I quit I was getting constant sinus infections. Wake up every morning coughing my lungs out. I knew if I continued not only would I most likely be gone in ten years but it wasn’t going to be a fun way to go suffocating. I’d miss watching my daughter grow up and walking her down the aisle. I could literally feel smoking starting to affect my health after 20 years. Vaping got me off and I feel great now.

As a former smoker of 20 years and nearing 2 packs a day by the time I quit. Please do yourself a favor and try to quit. You will thank yourself.

Vaping got me off of cigarettes, it was the only thing that was going to be able to as I was hopelessly addicted. I always smoked regular cigarettes, but I found that I preferred menthol fruit flavors. The coolnes feeling made it feel more like a real cigarette.

I can get you off cigarettes in one to two week. All you need is a pen vape and a couple flavors of about .5 nic salt. Buy one pack of cigarettes.

First two days start vaping as much as possible whenever you have a cigarette cravig, but allow yourself a cigarette if you need one. After this try to skip one cigarette, by end of week you should still have a few cigarettes left. I kept two 9 years ago and I still have them in my truck dash kard. But seriously keep two on hand by end of week or second week. Keep them in vehicle house. I found that helped loosen my anxiety of not having cigarettes around physically. And now those two cigarettes are a memento that I won.

Bonus after a month or two of being strictly vaping. Quitting vaping cold turkey is much easier than normal cigarettes. I didn’t even have a problem quitting cold turkey. The only issue I had remaining is the physical mouth throat hit. So I got some zero nicotine menhol flavor. And would just take a light puff of that whenever that urge arrived and one would usually get me through the entire day.

My daughter is Gen Alpha, 2014. It’s hard to believe she will be a teenager next year, I can’t believe how fast 12 years have flown by.

I really hope this country can start turning things around and Trump becomes a distant memory and women start getting the rights to their bodies back. Will be a long time before that happens in my state.

I think her generation is going to pay heavily for our failures but I believe they come out stronger in the end and more united against what will make their lives hard.

Ok. No i graduated highschool in 96. Farmed for 20 years after, got hurt. Now I’m just a parts manager at a small business. Just bored with it. I want change but at the same time I get off at 5 and am able to be with my family.

The downside is my boss, and pay even though he gives me vacation days, I am hardly ever allowed to use them in the summer time To begining of September . He homeschools his kid because he’s a dumbass maga clown. So he thinks it’s ok for my kids to miss School in September. if I want to go on a trip for a week. No. Which makes going on a family vacation hard.

Is it a specific field you’re in or can anyone apply, how do you go about finding a WFH job? I live in a very rural area, I have a job been at it 10 years but I’m ready too move on, there’s just nothing else around I want to do. I actually have fiber internet so that’s not a problem.

Same, my one remaining friend irl went hardcore maga and I tried remaining in contact but he just stopped answering. Best friends since 3rd grade. Best man at my wedding. Ya, conservatives in 2008 to 2016 were usually mocked relentlessly and buried, life went on. But now reddit has definitely been infiltrated by the right wing and you get banned for making them cry.

I had one account banned because I posted in a right wing sub of all places discussing Lord of the rings. The alt right has a weird obsession with LOTR if you didn’t know. . I posted a video clip of clerks 2 where Randall is trashing the LOTR movies and says the true ending should be frodo bricking in Sam’s mouth. Got banned for gay bashing in a right wing sub where they do it daily. The irony is astounding
