I love that they have a belt. Like, you gotta put your belt on even with cut-offs.
It’s keeping people off their land, as designed. I’m sure people buying property on the border do in fact find it beneficial not to have immigrants coming across on their property. Might even lower insurance too if it’s viewed to reduce risk of liability.
Funny that they used donations to make their property more desirable and surprise Pikachu face its worth more now and taxes went up!
No OTA broadcasts in the US utilize 4k yet. ATSC 3.0 is being utilized some, but not exclusively, but no one is broadcasting 4k unfortunately
I’m 26+ miles away from the broadcast antennas as the crow flies and I get great reception from an approx $100 antenna mounted in my attic. Some HOAs don’t allow antennas and people might be surprised to learn how good your reception can be from an attic.
This guy has ALL the pride!
Nuclear safety and penny-pinchers don’t make good bedfellows.
I think most parents get their kids in the car first because kids hanging around in the parking lot with cars pulling in and out is hazardous and kids can be dumb. Hard to keep an eye on them while you’re unloading things so you put them in first. Then of course if it’s warm out the car is hot and kids will be complaining so the parent starts the car to get the AC going while they secure the kids and then unload the groceries. Once done of course they have to decide… walk away from the running car with your kids inside and put the cart away, or not. I can understand why sometimes they dont.
Additionally Ukraine is an asset they want to exploit. Turning it into a nuclear landscape makes it unusable.
I wonder if those prior medical terms had precise definitions. Obese is BMI >= 30 and morbidly obese is >= 40. BMI itself has some issues but works ok as a general assessment for most people.
Jammer also keeps people from getting a notification that someone has come into view on the camera. An away homeowner who sees a person coming through their front door can call the police. With no notification you don’t know until you get home and they’re long gone.
Version 2 came with Windows 7. Version 5 comes with Windows 10 (and I think 11). V7 is the latest but being cross-platform doesn’t come with some of the Windows-specific modules built into v5.
I know I’m a heretic but I’m a huge powershell fan. Once you work with an object-oriented shell you’ll wonder why you’ve dealt with parsing text for so long. Works great on Linux, MacOS and Windows, it’s open source, reads and writes csv, json and xml natively, native web and rest service support, built-in support for remote computing and parallel processing and extensive libraries for just about anything you can think of. It takes a little getting used to but it’s worth it.
Uh oh… what did they do to Mr Rogers?
In several states the coroner is also the only authority that can arrest the governor as well. Very strange system.
I do. Currently I use it mostly for personal stuff as part of my time spent on production support. Importing data from queries, exporting spreadsheets, reading complex json data and extracting needed info, etc. In the past when I was on DevOps used it with Jenkins and various automation processes, and I’ve used it as a developer to create test environments and test data.
As a long-time bash, awk and sed scripter who knows he’ll probably get downvoted into oblivion for this my recommendation: learn PowerShell
It’s open-source and completely cross-platform - I use it on Macs, Linux and Windows machines - and you don’t know what you’re missing until you try a fully objected-oriented scripting language and shell. No more parsing text, built-in support for scalars, arrays, hash maps/associative arrays, and more complex types like version numbers, IP addresses, synchronized dictionaries and basically anything available in .Net. Read and write csv, json and xml natively and simply. Built-in support for regular expressions throughout, web service calls, remote script execution, and parallel and asynchronous jobs and lots and lots of libraries for all kinds of things.
Seriously, I know its popular and often-deserved to hate on Microsoft but PowerShell is a kick-ass, cross-platform, open-source, modern shell done right, even if it does have a dumb name imo. Once you start learning it you won’t want to go back to any other.
Or a son-in-law that teaches your grandkids to call you “Pee-paw”.
Paybacks gonna be a bitch Rob!
I hope its a little better than remote access to disable. Internet access can be knocked out and cell signals jammed. Hopefully they’ve gorba deadman switch and disable things immediately in the event of an invasion.
The boosting of propaganda and the identification, tracking and exploitation of government targets.
People in key government positions are still people like us and they love social media too. Having an app on their phone doing data mining can identify people of interest and then collect data, target and compromise them. Even without the app on a government issued phone they can identify key people using their personal phones and then target them for more sophisticated surveillance.
