I’m loyal and respectful enough with the people I care. Isn’t that enough?
Nope, you need to actually meet people, do stuff, talk, go places etc. Simply existing and “being nice” is not enough.

Then you need some friends. On the how to acquire one, there are a few ways. One of the most effective outside of school or work is to join some club, some class or some sport activity. For instance, I joined a latin dance class lately (salsa, bachata) and I’ve met lots of very friendly people. Every Friday they also organize a night out to some local clubs to dance, and there you can meet lots of other people with a similar interest. It’s just an example though, pick something interesting, join a group of people etc.
You just need to be proactive. Staying all day in your room commiserating yourself is definitely not sexy
So you spend your entire day either working/studying or staring at a blank wall?
Btw, it doesn’t really matter if you do something actually interesting, it’s the attitude that counts. I’ve tried doing the same thing/going to the same event with different people, some very positive and outgoing, and some very negative, and the experience has been very very different.
If your attitude is “I’m not interesting, and I don’t do anything interesting” then guess what, you won’t be interesting to anyone around you. Btw, going to the pub for a beer can be very interesting. Walking somewhere can be interesting.
I mean, Zola Larson wouldn’t even be such a bad name (zola is how Gorgonzola is abbreviated in Italy)
So Justin Bieber circa 2014, i.e. dropcrotch pants, aka diaper pants.
I think those are some of the most hideous pants ever. Or do you mean like Swiss Guard pants?
ARM = Advanced RISC Machine
Originally Acorn RISC Machine before that
for one specific brand (specific model too ?)
Probably one platform (used for several models, sometimes shared between brands. For instance VW Polo, Audi A1, Seat Ibiza and Skoda Fabia are all based on the same platform).
Unless you have cars with modular battery packs, which do not exist right now.
A Piaggio Ape with a 50cc engine and two seats manages 3-4L/100Km (>70mpg) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That’s a Piaggio Ape (or Apecar), which has been made in literally any and all possible shapes and uses. It has been used by generations in Italy and many other countries to haul everything imaginable. The standard variation has an open bed, the one posted in the image is a modified Ape with a closed bed.
It’s the Vespa of the pickup truck world.
It’s not literally part of the video, exactly because of what you describe. They are separate streams that get injected into the player before the normal video. You can’t skip them or interact with them in any way (pretty sure it also breaks any purchase links etc). Piped or Invidious don’t have them, ytdl also doesn’t download them.
As of now, afaik, you won’t see them if your account wasn’t selected for the experiment, if you are in incognito mode (with uBO on) or if you have uBlock Origin (and other adblockers) off (you’ll see the normal ads and then the video).
How it works is that once you start getting these Server Side Ads (SSA), Youtube will create a sort of queue of videos in place of your usual video, with the first few being ads that can’t be skipped and have a red bar (not yellow) and in the end you’ll get your video. They are not literally part of the original video stream, they are separate streams that get injected as if they were the original video. It’s called SSAP, and I’ve been experiencing it from the last weekend. In the meantime, they’ve pretty much broken their player to implement this.
Ublock Origin has released a temporary fix yesterday here
Alternatively, you can use this extension to redirect from YouTube videos to piped.video I used it, it works very well, can’t guarantee for much more.
edit: fixed wording

Nobody wants to do business with unstable
nazispeople
Plenty of businesses ready and willing to do business with stable (and rich) Nazis, dictators and slavers. Look at the line of people and businesses more than ready to make deals with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, China, etc
If you are rich and have a stable government, there’s no amount of human rights violations and genocides stopping corrupt fuckers from trying to make deals with you and profit.
From 11 to 19 is always kind of weird in many languages. In Italian you go from essentially saying “one-ten” “two-ten”…“six-ten” to “ten-seven” “ten-eight” “ten-nine”. Then it goes in like in English. Why? No reason ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I have an automatic, drove a manual for years and a few times a year I still need to drive a manual, but I’ve never really done this, aside from maybe a couple times the very first time I got my automatic.
What usually happens is I stall the manual once or twice forgetting to press the clutch while decelerating. Not that often anyways.
But maybe it’s cause I learned on a manual, not an automatic
It felt like we, as a society, had so much optimism for the world that was to come. So, if anything, I think that’s what I’m mostly nostalgic for. I was so excited to grow up in that world. Damn.
As with anything regarding the past, there’s a lot of rose-tinted glasses going on. Be careful what you wish for
It’s not a bug, it’s 110% intentional and not only for the windows default screenshot utility. The whole pipeline is built in such a way to prevent you from taking screenshots or capturing video of a DRM protected player.
Even in Linux, afaik, you can’t simply take screenshots or record a Netflix movie playing in the browser. Yes there are ways, but not with the default applications (you need to break the encryption)
I think only the player is blocked, and would be shown in the screenshots as a black rectangle
Does it count as DIY or professionally installed if you are a professional doing it yourself?
