Naturally, this is the type of thing in sci-fi where we assume it’ll be used to generate massive amounts of income to benefit society in a magnificently short amount of time, and then some bastard comes around and says, “What if we incarcerate people for millenia?”
I dunno, some people have been pretty well adjusted to a normal life in the sense of having relationships and heartbreak but also a loving family and happy childhood, while others simply haven’t and couldn’t distinguish a sincere compliment from sarcasm.
Doesn’t happen to everyone, but it’s nice when you get a glimpse of what others take for granted.
I’ve been considering watching this and Bojack Horseman based on little snippets like this one, but have been disappointed in the past by other shows that don’t really keep the energy going. Is the rest of it like this?
I can imagine thinking it’s be funny in the early stages where things wouldn’t really be too logical they way they are now. Might even assume it wouldn’t actually do anything and I could just pull it back out.
This was the last Zelda game I played, but I couldn’t really get the hang of it since I really went into it expecting OoT 2: Eclectic Boogaloo, and OoT was really the best thing I’d seen up until then regardless of franchise. Then I saw all the cool stuff being done in later games with all the amazing tech that was being developed but I just couldn’t get around to have the time or patience necessary to sit and play anymore.
I hope it’s not, what the hell kind of parents do these kids have??
