The Likud party has in their mission statement that Israel will own the land from the sea to the Jordan river so Hamas isn’t the only party with “river to the sea” rhetoric.

Fascists lie and dress up rhetoric in more approachable formats to get past scrutiny. You think libertarianism is opposite to fascism which is only true if you don’t consider American libertarianism, which is actually a corporatist ideology whose founders outright said that the term “libertarian” was used because it has good connotations and they didn’t want ideological enemies to have that benefit. Fascists are very good at working with corporations as can be seen through BMW, Hugo Boss, and others.

The American vision of a libertarian does not see an issue with hierarchies enforced by non state actors which makes them the perfect camouflage for fascists who similarly don’t want the government to protect everyone from abuse. The true differences only show up when the fascists start lining people up on the wall and at that point the libertarians will either be working with them or on the wall too.

And I think restricting context and acting like anything started recently is an inaccurate way to frame what’s going on. This conflict has been going on far longer than a week. Wars don’t just pop up out of nowhere, they are based on context from before the war.

Hamas didn’t exist at the start of the conflict actually. They formed in response to and with funding from Israel in the 80s and 90s.

Actually I bring this up because when talking about famines people love to downplay the strife caused by capitalists maximizing profit and socializing loses.
