ACKTCHUALLY the collapse of the American economy is a good thing ☝️🤓

Then why bring it up? We’re talking about a system of private housing with a profit incentive
A world in which we all live in project housing is a dark one indeed
$60 in the 1990s would be like $120 today. $80 is cheap by comparison
Idk who the first was, but Ubisoft, Activision, and EA all release $80 games. Plus there were N64 cartridges back in the 90s that cost $70-$80
They’re definitely not the first lol
Software engineers are in oversupply these days
I disagree
I deny that nintendo is being very aggressive with pricing here. Increasing prices once in 30 years is not aggressive at all
You’re sure she didn’t delete it herself due to the attention she was probably getting?
I, for one, think we live in a pretty good world if the thing that drives us to complain on the internet is a modest increase in price for entertainment goods once every 30 years. I’m not going to bemoan capitalism because I have to shell out a few more bucks for Mario Kart; that actual insanity
It’s not like they’re making baby formula here. They’re making videogames. Nobody is entitled to a $60 cartridge
All companies charge the price that consumers will tolerate, that is literally how prices work. Every single thing you spend money on is based on this principle
Well it’s also way more convenient to drive in most places. Public transportation in most American cities doesn’t work well
I honestly feel that anyone who complains about the price increase of AAA games just feels entitled to pay a certain price for a game.
If the game is too expensive, then simply don’t buy it. If the real price of the game $60, then that’s what the market will tolerate. If it’s $80, then people will pay for that. Vote with your wallet, but don’t act like nintendo produces necessities; they make entertainment products. They could charge $800 for a game and your life would not be negatively impacted in any way
Sure I don’t see why adoption ot being a godfather to someone shouldn’t count. I just think that anyone not engaged in raising children or making the world a better place for them is just using the world and giving nothing back
I think people fear violent death more than they fear accidental death. If american cities want more people to ride public transportation, they need to clean up public transportation. If you’ve been outside of the US you see how countries with far fewer resources than us do a lot more with their public transportation.
They’re cleaner, less noisy, and the police will actually do something about antisocial behavior on the trains. Until we have something like that in thr US, I will avoid taking the bus
I’d call myself a liberal but not left wing
