The pizza rodent was blurry, just like we remember
I too have owned a fractal case and I really liked it! I eventually got rid of it because I moved cross-country and I didn’t have an immediate need for it.
My company is not a place where you learn how to code, it’s a place where you learn all the stuff which you didn’t think you’d have to do as a software engineer.
This to me is actually the “secret” of software engineering: it’s frequently doing the stuff you didn’t think you’d have to do as a software engineer.
The hard part is often finding someone who can do both while also wanting to work at your company.
This photo was generated by AI after 2020, not “taken” at all.
I really appreciate how many different reasons this picture is crap.
I wouldn’t be surprised if AI-Arnold’s watch looks like something that was designed later or something.
I enjoy reading reviews where the person is trying to write that there’s nothing special about a product, and at the current price point you should get something else… without writing that.
For that price, I might have expected slightly better noise cancelling and a potentially more well-rounded sound…
I know I’ve definitely enjoyed using them for the last few weeks, and if you can still pick them up at the discounted rate I spotted them at recently, then they’re well worth a go.
Let me paraphrase. Are you a “pick me?” These unique fashion-first headphones are for you.
Are you someone who just wants decent headphones? Buy something else unless you can get them on discount.
It’s both! Though Lay’s came first. I looked it up because I couldn’t remember.
Pringles is “once you pop, you can’t stop,” in the mid 1990s.
Lay’s is “betcha can’t eat just one,” starting in the early 1960s!
Now I want chips.
The graphics look nice. The colors remind me of the original Sonic the Hedgehog
What a cool idea!
I think they thought it meant “veiled compliments” and not “veiled insults.”
Which isn’t hard to confuse really.
The first sentence of the article shows the problem.
For years, we heard about the tech talent shortage — that there were a glut of jobs and not enough bodies to fill them.
The problem wasn’t ever “bodies,” which people have always misunderstood. It’s qualified workers.
I worked in tech for a long time, at a bunch of different companies, and I never once worked anywhere that there was a glut of jobs and “not enough bodies” to fill them.
The people going into these careers includes a large number of people who want the money but aren’t qualified do what we’re looking for.
I think I’ll take a walk!
I too thought it was bread. I was like “marbled!! Oh.”
This is one of the many reasons I didn’t buy a fridge with a screen on it.
It seemed pretty obvious they were going to try and advertise something on it.
ONE WEEK SINCE
I agree with you wholeheartedly.
I’m surprised this would be an unpopular opinion.
John Popper is a harmonica virtuoso; Barenaked Ladies aren’t known for much musically outside their hits.
I’ll add, John Popper is such a virtuoso that he would show up in weird places. Like, I remember listening to the Metallica cover of Tuesday’s Gone, and who shows up? John Popper! He does a great job. The cover wouldn’t be nearly to as good without him. He accompanies the entire song, it rules. Best part of the song.
The assholes are louder or more annoying, but in my experience the vast majority of people are kind.
Correct.
They are legitimately too stupid to tell the difference between their specific childhood and the state of the entire world, so they think they can go back there if they try hard enough and force everyone else to pretend.
