2·2 days agoYou spoke too soon. Ubuntu 26.04 pushes gnu coreutils out in favor of rust coreutils.

I assume it’s possible to extract the firmware payload from the exe and apply it with fwupd?

4·2 days agoYeah. 1? 2?? It’s like they weren’t even trying. What’s next? 3???
Fully agreed.
Didn’t read, too busy having fun playing Pokopia.
Just wait until you find out about Ubuntu “All Snaps” Core Edition.
Mint does have a Debian Edition.

7·3 days agoWow, the very top row and the furthest left column have terrible ratings.
Here’s an example:
Limb of the victim of a curse.
Temporary curse allows engagement with ghosts. The only way to fight back against ghosts, who are cursed beings, is to become cursed oneself.
The safest method, however dreadful, is to cut off an arm of the dead.
That’s where the rescue team comes from in The Chrysalids

Linux@programming.dev•What's Debian going to name their releases after when they run out of Toy Story characters?
3·4 days agoWait, the th sounds on “this” and “thought” are different
Isn’t there a way to differentiate them with symbols?

I at first assumed that the projected view in your post was of a Jurassic Park enclosure, and that the occasional T-Rex would emerge.

8·7 days agoDouble Dash is my favorite.
I think I’m drawn more to the more co-operative games due to idealizing siblinghood as an only child.
But Double Dash is by far the best co-op Mario Kart experience.
Some notes that may have gone unnoticed:- if both players on one kart hold Z, they swap who is driving
- the above is
the onlyone way to make the reserve item available - the way to get the super drift boost requires both players to rock the kart in time
It really rewards coordination and is loads of fun for couch co-op.

My favorite insult is Michelle Wolf’s “…but you lack the warmth and the depth”.
