I don’t get it. I’ve never been on vacation, and people say that makes me “culturally stunted”, but then I look into visiting places, and see nothing but locals complaining about tourists doing the most horrific shit.

Assuming a typical family of four, 2k a month for marketplace insurance is actually pretty cheap. My partner just got his tax documents, and between him and his employer, they spent 10k last year to insure a single adult. I’ve got a ton of health problems, and we’ve talked about adding me to his plan, but that’s an extra $500 a month.

Out of all the displays in the house, there’s only one 4k computer monitor. The dumb tv is a 1080p, my other monitor is a 720p, then my partner has a DVI and a VGA monitor for his computer.
