Questions for you and your upvoters: when you were growing up, did you climb a lot of trees that were way too high for you or did they have fences to keep you away from them? Were you required to wear a helmet while riding a bike? Were you even allowed to bicycle anywhere on your own? Did you ever have to figure out how something works on your own, or has it always been your default response to give up when someone isn’t there spoon-feeding you the answers?

Democrats tried to offer a single payer option. However, EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN voted against it, and as a result, it was possible for two Democrats, Dick Durbin and Joe Lieberman, to vote against it and force the removal of Single Payer and the Public Option from the bill.
And as a result, we get the BOTH SIDES SAME bullshit. Republicans stand firm and vote 100% against a bill, making it possible for 1 or 2 Democrats to derail it, and as a result, people get mad at Democrats as a whole and ensure Republicans keep getting enough seats to keep this strategy alive.
What’s amazing is how well this works for Republicans. So many idiots in the world.
Brilliant. Hey Genius, did you know Hitler joined the German Worker’s Party in 1919? That he was appointed as Chancellor of Germany in 1933? That he invaded Poland in 1939?
Tell me, deep thinker, during those 20 years, when do YOU think it was appropriate to start calling Hitler a fascist?
How about when people do fascist shit, we call them out for fascist behavior? Oh, and FFS learn how to summarize.
That’s funny, I was just coming to comment about remembering when Godwin’s law was a thing, and about how I wonder, now, if it helped contribute towards protecting the slow, continual growth of fascist ideology. Nazi thinkers not getting called out on their Nazi thoughts by invoking this made up rule.

25·5 months agoIt isn’t whataboutism. It’s facts and data. It’s in response to the the ridiculous low-IQ statements from the OP claiming that the US is a biohazard now because the fascists in charge fired people at the CDC.
Read the article I linked. There are plenty of cases of measles in the European Union, along with low vaccination coverage, and they haven’t fired anyone at their CDC. Should we be knee-jerk calling to restrict travel to and from the EU?
But I love how you think the EU measles and vaccination issue is a US import, instead of what it really is.

316·5 months agoI really love all these accounts attempting to sow division and hate against the United States, when it’s just one specific political group who everyone should be uniting against, FASCISM.
Meanwhile, go ahead and read that article about how the European Union has had 32,264 cases of the measles, and only 4 EU countries have the recommended two dose coverage for the vaccination, and then come back and talk to us about disease prevention.
Edit: hi Alaknard, you America-hatin’ Lil busy bee

23·5 months agoEvidently, the CDC in the EU doesn’t exist, if only 4 countries are properly vaccinated for measles. Get your house in order, genius.

22·5 months agoAnd by the way, Sir Genius, the CDC doesn’t manufacture Measles vaccinations.
So people in America who are intelligent and understand how vaccinations work will continue to get them. But seriously, you need to worry less about the US and start focusing on your own vaccination problems in the EU, according to this, and using YOUR LOGIC, you guys are a biohazard

Sounds like the damn place is a biohazard at this point, and we need to stop tourists from the EU from entering other countries like Alaknar advises.

13·5 months agoWith those huge numbers, do they even have the equivalent of a CDC? How useless must the EU equivalent CDC must be if it is THAT INEFFECTIVE IN PREVENTING MEASLES.
Weren’t you the one teaching me about herd immunity and asymptomatic carriers? It sounds like the EU needs to be quarantined immediately
Those numbers are worse than the country you are complaining about, why aren’t you screaming to quarantine the EU? Very telling.
Did you even read the article?? ONLY 4 COUNTRIES IN THE EUROPEAN UNION REPORT COVERAGE FOR BOTH VACCINATION DOSES! There goes your guys herd immunity, time to revoke your travel privileges.
However, vaccination levels in the EU/EEA still fall short of this target, with estimates from 2023 showing that only four countries (Hungary, Malta, Portugal and Slovakia) report such coverage for both doses.

I love it when people like that prove what little character they truly have, that they put that much wasted effort into making their petty hate against other people, countries and cultures look more popular than it is.
People who believe in truth and science should always unite together against the real evil in society: hate and ignorance

25·5 months agoBetween 1 February 2024 and 31 January 2025, a total of 32 265 people were diagnosed with measles in the European Union. During this period, Romania (27 568), Italy (1 097), Germany (637), Belgium (551) and Austria (542) reported the highest number of cases across the EU/EEA.
It’s time we stopped these diseased EU tourists from traveling and spreading the measles to all other countries!! Just like Alaknar suggests!!

Well, buddy, what you are basically saying is, if the EU are putting up those crappy measles numbers without a CDC, I guess that means America is just becoming MORE LIKE YOU GUYS.
So what’s your effin’ problem mate? You mad at the US for becoming more like the EU, is that your angle now? Haha your logic is just… so brilliant

Also, I am the one calling you a genius. Can’t you even come up with your own shtick?

Clearly you are not a lawyer, not educated in law, nor do you know a single thing regarding what you are talking about, yet you felt compelled to leave a comment full of complete disinformation. Is letting people on the internet know how dumb you are a family tradition, or is this something new you are trying out for yourself?
