192·24 days agoI know this is dadjokes, and maybe I’m just being a stickler, but I’m really just tired of the whole “you see scary hallucinations on psychedelics” trope. Maybe because mushrooms have been key to me finally finding peace and joy in my life, and I don’t like when misconceptions about these wonderful drugs spread over the internet.
First week starting a new job. My sleep schedule was absolute garbage before.
The 3rd day I accidentally hit “stop” instead of “snooze” on my alarm. Woke up at 11am (start time was 9am).
Luckily they didn’t fire me. But my coworkers all thought I was an alcoholic for the next few months. Fun times…
