Do you know if Wafrn can be used for watch parties / live posting? (I.e. people read & post with a specific hashtag in real time.)
I do that with Mastodon (e.g. #Monsterdon ) but so far others I’ve tried (e.g. Sharkey) can’t do it.
8·12 days agoI’ve tried a few step counters (Paseo, Pedometer PFA) but they kept crashing (a couple of times a week) so I’d often go to check my steps only to find they hadn’t been counting.
In the two months I’ve been using Stepsy, it hasn’t crashed once.
Fancy? No. Reliable? Yes.

- I knew of Pixabay for images, cool you found they also do music
- Another source: maybe Jamendo? Here’s their page on licensing. I believe those subscription plans support use with fewer limitations & additional features/services, but I think you can start building a library of tracks for free (but I am not an expert)
I can find it on Droidify, but there’s only a Share button, no install button :(
And the blobs, just like all people, are BINARY!
Use them for online #WatchParty events.
E.g. VCR Party and Susan’s Cinema Stash show movies on VHS online using Owncast. I’ve seen interesting (and crappy) movies there.

I put lemmyverse.link at the start of URLs that lead to a different instance. That redirects them to my home instance where I xan vote, comment etc.
