I know everyone is upset, but I feel this is where the market can really throw its weight behind a competitor that sees a gap in the market. Monopolies always seem so big until they suddenly collapse. Nokia not embracing android can be an example I think, or TV against Netflix or know that Netflix is becoming shit the high seas

  • I loved the co-op. Solving puzzles with friends, the facing the mad chainsaw welding zombies. But I know apart from the action and boulder punching issues, why I think, and this is just my thought and in no way maybe the real reason, Capcom would not make a remake of 5 is because of the African setting, which as a South African I loved, but because mostly you are a white character mostly shooting mindless and violent black zombies. Even if it is fiction, the main villain was a white guy it doesn’t matter, I remember there was a small murmur regarding this issue back then, now in the 2020s with people much more vocal regarding social issues, I do not think Capcom would open themselves to scrutiny. The thing for me is that game was made during that time, just like how certain Disney or Looney Toons were made during a certain time, but cannot be made in today’s environment

  • Yeah not sure what Ukraine is doing there, clearly a troll. But not even the Soviet Union, China, US, UK all the other does not excuse them from their atrocities. They are all bad, it does not matter if a Communist or a Capitalist is oppressing you, oppression is oppression. Trying to excuse your oppression by referring to the other side does it too is not a valid argument. People deserve freedom not subjugation

  • Living in South Africa, I had to reluctantly get a gun, hate it but after they shot my neighbours leg off through her daughter’s window I knew I had no choice because I had 3 other women living with me.

I will call it a successful gun ownership if I never have to use it, I really do not wish to be placed in that situation.

Having seen people be killed by firearms in front of me, the police’s apathy as they were giggling at me when they saw my red eyes and saying it’s what rural poor people do (I think it was their way of comforting me).

Some gun owners are reluctant owners, but really when you have as high a violent crime and murder rate as we do, you have to make a difficult choice.
