When you launch Brave for the first time, it will push a lot of services like Brave News, Brave AI, their video call platform etc., all cloud services. Technically, they’re all open source, but I wouldn’t trust them. They have released a separate version, though, which keeps all this things disabled, which is paid on every platform except Linux builds.

Still, Brave is a whole lot better than Chrome, but I wouldn’t trust either.

Yes, Google Chrome installs AI locally without consent automatically, Brave forces you to use their cloud services.

Nextcloud has location sharing features, which I’ve heard, are on par with Google’s location sharing.

Genuine Stupidity.

I’m in India, and when I was in college, first Starbucks in the city was opened and a few of my friends including me wanted to try it. We all spent 500-600 INR ($4-5) which was a lot. After taking the first sip, we all came to the conclusion that the coffee sold at the college canteen for ₹20 was better than this overpriced slop.

I make coffee at my home for less than a dollar and I love the taste and I love the experience.

I have tried it, doesn’t really work for me. I have tried online LLMs and local LLMs using Camofox etc. All I get are names of popular media, which I can usually find with a simple search on duckduckgo. In my case LLMs do not provide much help. Directly searching on pirated media sites like YTS, 1337x, or even using TMDB helps a lot more.

LLMs may perform better if they had direct API access of TMDB or something, like a skill on Hermes agent or open claw, that could also be better. But it still takes a lot more time and resources than just looking up stuff yourself. Also, searching yourself might show a thing or two more that you weren’t even looking for.

Spider-Man is not a thing in the DC Universe

There have been at least one official cross-over comic where Spider-Man goes into an alternate reality and meets Batman. IIRC the story was something like Spider-Man accidentally arrives in Gotham, batman thinks he is some new villain and fights him.

Are you sure? I’ve used Fedora Workstation and Fedora Server, I had to reboot. And Cannonical charges money for this feature in Ubuntu.
