I just installed Pop!_OS 22.04, after finally ditching Windows 11 entirely. I picked it because it seemed easy to use, well suited for gaming, and popular with good support.
So far, everything has been great!

I’ve been pretty happy with Kagi and they have a decent privacy policy: https://kagi.com/privacy
This led me to some interesting reading, apparently it was a topic in the courts of the day:

I think it’s supposed to be https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graggle_Simpson
Depending on the size of the screen and the sitting distance, sometimes 1080p is more than enough.
Nothing to deserve that comment that I’m aware of
I hit up all the tea places I could walk to last time I was in Seattle but unfortunately Ballard was a bit too far from where I was, I’ll have to keep them in mind!
Credit for this goes to David Lovelace, and it’s not even the most ridiculous variant he made: https://www.umop.com/rps.htm
IIRC didn’t it start out as XBMC, a media center you put onto the original Xbox?
I’m also interested in this project. Looks like there has been some recent activity: https://www.opensourceecology.org/2024-product-release-of-seed-eco-home-4/
You should contact them about getting involved! I did see they had jobs a while back for a project.
When companies start to focus too much on growth usually they start to lose sight of their values and greed begins to take over. That said I just checked their ad policy and while they do physical ads, it’s still a pretty reasonable policy.
They still won’t be showing up on random YouTubers videos like Nord
I checked their policy, the physical ads are new
I believe they prefer Libera pay over the other options last I had checked
One of the things I liked about Mullvad was that they didn’t advertise. Has this changed recently or did they always do outdoor ads?
Well deserved, I loved playing through this game when it came out and am eagerly awaiting their next project.
You can buy music without DRM on Bandcamp, and on Bandcamp Friday a larger share goes directly to the creator. It’s a great way to support your favorite artists.
As someone who is a current user and unaware of superior options but is curious, what would you recommend?
I tried out this OS last year and really loved it, until I went on a road trip and couldn’t use Android Auto. This is huge and will make GrapheneOS an extremely attractive option to privacy minded people.
10 wolves today, but in the future it’ll be hundreds or thousands potentially (which I’m fine with) but it’s shortsighted to think it’s only ten
I’ve really been enjoying Kagi. They seem to have a pretty good privacy policy as well. However Searxng is probably the best for privacy since it’s self hosted.
