We use jack hammers around here for that.
Piper at the Gates of Dawn?
Hell, I’ve got 12 Pink Floyd albums archived, but I don’t have that one. Honestly I don’t think I’ve even heard of it before.
My favorite Pink Floyd album is The Division Bell. Strangely enough, not long after that became my favorite album, I actually found a pristine copy of it on CD in the ditch on a bicycle ride. No case, just the CD, but very luckily no scratches either.
You better bet your ass I ripped that album that evening, to raw uncompressed WAV audio. And yes, I stuck it somewhere on the Internet Archive…
I got a real kick out of that one, well done, bravo! 👏
Pink Floyd - Animals
I like everything else by Pink Floyd quite a bit, just not the album Animals.
Nope, I’ve seen at least 3 completely different designs, none of those compatible.
Anything is a dildo hammer, if you’re brave enough.
I picked up a copy of Overload somewhere on the high seas. The graphics on that game are so intense that my poor little laptop can only get like 3 frames per second at its absolute lowest resolution and quality settings ☹️
Maybe one day I’ll get a better system worthy of high end games. It’s just not high on my priorities list now, as I don’t play games nearly as often as I did in my teens and 20s.
At least they were nice enough to leave it on bricks so they can still get a jack underneath it 😂
Granted that this isn’t microwave related, but it’s definitely popcorn related. Have you ever heard of a popcorn cannon? They’re designed to even be able to pop regular corn right off the cob…
The first uses of the hypotenuse theorem came centuries before Pythagoras, unknown exactly when it came to be. Pythagoras just happens to be credited to be the first to document it.

Edit: Noting that the http site doesn’t seem to load in Android WebView mode, fuck Google Chrome, it loads in Firefox though.
Don’t worry, I put you back on the shelf with a higher price tag.
Oof, I hear you there. So the CAD software you use won’t run under WINE?
Oddly enough, I’ve repaired a plasma cutter controller system running CAD software from 1991, running under Microsoft Xenix of all things.
It probably ain’t too much of a stretch to get that software running under Linux, if only the company released their source code.
It was cheaper for them to keep their old stuff running than dump $20,000+ into a new updated system.
Who said I can’t figure out how to install Windows? I don’t want Windows anymore.
The very first thing I did when I got my laptop that shipped with Windows 10 was format it and install Linux.
It’s a shame that I can’t transfer the Windows key in the firmware to someone that could use it ☹️
Okay. Undercooked meat may yield bad parasitic worms. So what, what makes pork any different than any other meat in that regard?
Always cook meat thoroughly and that shouldn’t be a problem. Pork ain’t any different.
You’re supposed to remove your clothes from your anus before you go to the laundromat.
I won’t make that mistake again.
Sorta related, enjoy…

Bo Burnham - Welcome to the Internet
I haven’t tried all that many distros, but I’d say Puppy Linux. Pretty neat that it loads into RAM from USB and has fairly light memory requirements, but it does feel a little on the clunky side as far as configuration and stuff goes.
