It’s basically a place where we would converse in sentences that combined our three native languages (Dutch, French and German). Was very funny to do actually! But speaking like that? No, never

Yes, this! No annoying purists in the cassette community (they might be there, tho, but haven’t encountered any yet so there’s that)
Oh I do have a lot of records as well, but cassettes have their charm as well! It’s easy to take them on the go (provided you have a walkman, which ALSO has its charm hahaha) and a lot cheaper than records. I like to collect my music on physical media, and cassettes make that very easy for me. A lot of the more “underground”/indie bands I listen to still release their music on tape as well. Plus, it’s very satisfying, indeed. I didn’t really grow up with cassettes (I’m 27), but nonetheless it has a certain feel to it.
