mines still a decent gaming rig that can play Skyrim, gta v on ultra settings but doesn’t meet windows 11 requirements. So Decided to Install kubuntu and all works well. And I’m glad I did, not throwing away a good working still capable hardware.
Just for reference my specs are:
i7 3770K.
Asus sabertooth z77 motherboard.
2tb ssd.
32gb ram.
Msi rtx3060 12gb vram.
Been running kubuntu for 1 year 2 months and thanks to steam for supporting linux (via proton)
Also play wow (using lutris)
WindowsME was really a bad and traumatic moment. He had a mental block ;)
Grim Dawn and DevilutionX. https://github.com/diasurgical/devilutionX
DevilutionX is basically Diablo but opensource
Minecraft, Skyrim and valheim
Both fun solo and with friends. I mostly play solo as friends have different work schedules but when some are available I play co-op or with random ppl
Completely different games but if it makes you feel good drg survivor runs well (played the demo on sd)
Install lutris then battle.net… I play wow, Diablo and Warcraft 3 on kubuntu…
And have battle.net on my stream deck (installed via non-steam game) wow installed and docked while playing away from home using kbm
Your welcome ;)
Rock and Stone
Don’t forget MOPY ;)
Columbia (especially their winter gear). Never failed and kept me warm.
fyi: Been using lutris/battle.net (on kubuntu) for wow and Diablo for a year and a month and no issues so far.
And also got battle.net setup on steam (running kubuntu too and want to play around with proton) as a non-steam game and still works
